Meet Angela Macdonald
A true Gorbals original — a "skyscraper wean" who grew up in Glasgow's tower blocks, where neighbours shared everything, especially food. Angela learned early that the best things in life are made with love and shared with community.
After decades in business, retirement brought clarity: she wanted to create something meaningful. Something that would bring joy while making a real difference.
When Angela discovered that just £19 feeds a child for an entire school year through Mary's Meals, she knew exactly what DONUT LAB would stand for.
